Lozovača is a fruit brandy traditionally produced by distilling fermented grape juice, known as “loza.” The traditional production process involves fermenting grape juice, followed by distillation in copper stills. Distillation is usually carried out multiple times to achieve purity and high quality of the brandy. Lozovača has a characteristic fruity character, with pronounced grape notes. This brandy can have a diverse range of aromas, including fruity, floral, and spicy tones.
The recommended serving temperature is usually between 12°C and 16°C. Cooling can provide an additional refreshing note, but caution should be taken not to chill the brandy too much.
